MI: How I Learn

Hello! For my homework, I've taken this Personality Max™ Test, which assesses my personality type, temperament, intelligence type, learning style, and dominant brain hemisphere. Onto my results!

• My personality type is INTP! This personality type is based on the Myers-Briggs Personality Test, which comprises of 16 different personality types. Click here if you want to learn more about what these four letters mean.

• My top two intelligences are Linguistic and Musical, meaning I am better adapted at either learning about these topics or through these topics, such as writing out notes or creating rhythmic sayings to memorize terms. I am not a very Interpersonal learner, as the test places that as the lowest of my intelligences. These results are based on Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, if you want to know the other types, check here).

My Leadership Type

As I've mentioned in my previous post, I am East-Vision type of person, according to the Leadership Compass Self-Assessment. Basically, this means that I am an ideally creative thinker.

I, along with the rest of my acquaintances from my AP Computer Science Principles class, took this quiz in order to better know myself and scout for potential complementing partners within the class.

In terms of team cooperation, I possess qualities such as: Idea-oriented and focused on future thought,  adept at problem-solving, appreciative of a lot of information, insight into mission and purpose, capability of thinking outside of the box, and others. My type is supposedly the member most useful in conceptualization, variety, and 'pizazz' into projects.

I won't go into much details regarding the other different types here. It's best to see the results firsthand after taking the quiz yourself. If you want to know more about this test, try watching this video for a better understanding.

About Me

Hi! As the blog suggests, my name is Geraldine! But please, Geri is more than fine. 

Here's a couple of things about me:

• I am unconditionally attached to this video. I will never know why.

• Whether it be indie, folk, pop, rock, etc., my music tastes is mostly Japanese in general. It may be a combination of English songs written by Japanese artists, Japanese songs performed by vocal synthesizers, or Japanese songs by Japanese artists. 

• If it wasn't blaringly obvious, I have a penchant for Japanese culture, food being one of it's most amazing aspects. I've tried making omurice (omelette rice), a classic Japanese meal, and it's been my favourite ever since.

• My top three favorite books growing up are Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Frances Hodgson Bernett's The Secret Garden, and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.

• My main interest is digital art, for I aspire to take graphic design as a career. Below are some some of my works in progress (WIPs) to give you a taste of my art style. These images define a portion of me as a person, for they are a culmination of my thoughts, creativity, and skills.
